Deche-Charge founders Dan-Charge and Chain Saw met in late 1989 in high school, bonding over their mutual love for Napalm Death. After hearing Sore Throat, they thought about starting their own "grindcore" project, so they came up with a band name and, after recruiting a guy named Ferlay (aka Doom) who owned a bass, they recorded their first demo "Metal Deche Cores" (the title was influenced by the hardcore band MDC) in Dan's living room in August of 1990. The second demo "Le Retour Des Deche-Cores" was recorded in July of 1991 in Doom's basement, this time with a drum machine and featured 271 tracks. The split 7" with The Earwigs, released on Bung Record in Kentucky, was recorded during the same session; the latter being limited to only 300 copies, making it the rarest and most sought out D-C record.

This was the line up in the middle '90s: Dan-Charge: voice/drum machine/drums Chain Saw: voice/drum machine/drums Seb Grindionnoise/Frank Goshit: bass/guitar.
Split 7 by Brazilian label. split 7 w/ deche-charge (Rotthennes Records) semen soup tape 1993. Deche-Charge Each of the release included tons of songs. D-C trademark style was to create short bursting drum machine loop, playing same pattern of less than half second blast and having less than half second silence between, so it sounded like they’d have c. 15 songs in 10 seconds - making 7 s or even C-90 tapes to include literally hundreds of songs. I have posted stuff about Deche-Charge before, but now got some good news for those who like to listen their stuff online, for free. I’ll post this here, although it can be also found in canada section. Deche-Charge started their campaign of musical destruction in ‘89, ‘90. Most of their material consists of extremely short songs (1-5 seconds) lots.
