Richard Hell - Another World FLAC album

I could live with you in another world. note: i do not own this.

Another World is the second studio album by Queen guitarist Brian May. Recorded at his home studio after the completion of the last Queen album, Made in Heaven, the album was released in the UK on 1 June 1998 and on 15 September of that year in the US. The album itself started as a cover album. The "Heroes" concept was to record his favourite tracks from his favourite artists, but the idea soon mutated into a full album

Richard Lester Meyers (born October 2, 1949), better known by his stage name Richard Hell, is an American singer, songwriter, bass guitarist and writer. Richard Hell was an innovator of punk music and fashion. He was one of the first to spike his hair and wear torn, cut and drawn-on shirts, often held together with safety pins.

Richard Hell was one of the first men on the scene when punk rock first began to emerge in New York City as an early member of both Television and the Heartbreakers (he left both groups before they could record). But his own version of punk wasn't much like anyone else's, and while Hell's debut album, Blank Generation, remains one of the most powerful to come from punk's first wave, those anticipating a Ramones/Dead Boys-style frontal assault from this set had better readjust their expectations.

Richard Hell was everywhere, back then. Versions of him, anyway. Listening to the Electric Lady versions of tracks from the album on the bonus disc of this anniversary reissue (which also includes five tracks recorded live at their debut performance, the original Ork Records version of Another World and the band’s last, one-off, recording, 2000’s Oh ), you can hear that Hell’s instincts were right. The Plaza Sound versions are sharper, more dynamic, harder-edged, more abandoned, the band capable of making quite a racket, Julian and Quine’s guitars combining in ways that make them sound occasionally like Antennae Jimmy Semens and Zoot Horn Rollo on Trout.

Re-Issue in 1990 by Sire Records with a different cover and 2 bonustracks. Other productions from Richard Hell And The Voidoids.
