Erasure - The Circus + Wonderland FLAC album

just a short fan film about the Erasure's reissued deluxe albums WONDERLAND (1986-2011) 25th Anniversary and THE CIRCUS. Both include 2 cd's 1 with the original studio song and a second one with remixes and radio sessions + a dvd with the concert for evry album tour at time.

Wonderland is the debut studio album by Erasure, recorded in 1985 soon after the duo's formation. It was released on 1 May 1986 by Sire Records in the USA and 2 June 1986 by Mute Records in the UK and Germany.

The Circus is the second studio album by Erasure, released on 30 March 1987 by Mute Records in Germany and the UK and 7 July 1987 by Sire Records in the USA. It was Erasure's second consecutive album to be produced by Flood. The Circus became the duo's breakthrough in the UK, spawning four hit singles and reaching number six. It was an immediate success thanks to the number two UK placing of the first single "Sometimes", six months earlier. The album remains Erasure's longest-running on the UK charts.

Wonderland was recorded Trident, The Powerplant, Blackwing and Livingston. B6: 'The Stomp Crew' - Mark, Jay, Alistair, David, Barry, and Mark.

Erasure's second album, 1987's the Circus is one of their most uncompromising in several ways. The duo's most unfailingly dancefloor-oriented release, much of the Circus consists of in-your-face Hi-Nrg disco beats largely unvarnished by the pop savvy of later singles like 'Stop!' or 'Chains of Love'. Exclusively for Prime members.

The album was released in the USA with a different tracklisting (see above) and features a different mix of ‘Oh L’Amour’.

With The Circus, Erasure followed the old adage if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it when it came to its production, sticking with the man who’d twiddled the knobs for their debut album, Wonderland: Flood, a guy who has – as you probably know – continued to do pretty well for himself in the intervening years. When the album was released, it proved to be a smash in the UK, cementing Erasure as a chart force to be reckoned with, to the point where it remains their album that’s spent the longest amount of time on the UK charts
