The Beatles is the ninth official album by the English rock group The Beatles, a double album released in 1968.
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" is a nonsense song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1968 double album The Beatles (also known as "the White Album"). Following the album's release, the song was issued as a single in many countries, although not in Britain or America, and topped singles charts in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland and West Germany.
It was released as a single that same year in many countries, but not in the United Kingdom, nor in the United States until 1976. The song was written, primarily by Paul McCartney, around the time that highlife and reggae were beginning to become popular in Britain.
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (White). Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (The Beatles 1967-1970).

La-la, how the life goes on. Ob-la-di, ob-la-da. Desmond takes a trolley to the jeweler's store. Takes it back to Molly waiting at the door. And as he gives it to her she begins to sing.
