Wild! (Erasure album). This article is about the Erasure album. In the UK, Wild! continued Erasure's mainstream success: it became their second consecutive number one album and four singles hit the UK Top 20. The album also charted well in Germany, where it hit number sixteen. It was while promoting the Wild! album that Erasure launched the first of their many elaborately staged concert tours - this one featuring gigantic sets and props and several costume changes for band members Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, as well as several back-up singers and dancers. Released in 1989, Wild! continued Erasure's mainstream success, becoming their second consecutive number 1 album in the UK, going double platinum and its four singles (including 'Blue Savannah' and 'Drama!') all hitting the Top 20. If there's a stamp you want me to make, feel free to ask me! My second favourite Erasure album of all time! (First one being 1994's "I Say I Say I Say"). For the Inkubus Sukkubus album, see Wild (Inkubus Sukkubus album). Over 100 dates were played, culminating in their biggest headlining show at the Milton Keyes Bowl in front of 60,000 fans.

Erasure is an English synthpop duo, consisting of singer and songwriter Andy Bell and songwriter and keyboardist Vince Clarke. They formed in London, and entered the music scene in 1985 with their debut single "Who Needs Love Like That". Although Erasure had some good tracks on 'Wild!'(1989) and 'Chorus'(1991), plus a good single in 'Always'(1994), their best three albums were their first. The Innocents'(1988) was the best of the bunch, containing some great singles and, more importantly, superb album tracks. It was a proper album, with a similar style throughout and no fillers.

Ohh yes, there are some lovely songs on this album, but I don't like it so much as for an example The Innocents and The Circus, they were both fantastic. But if you already like Erasure, you will enjoy this album too. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: Pre-owned. by jefchampio213 Apr, 2017.
