Live at the Palladium is the second live album by American music duo Carpenters. It was recorded during a week of live concerts at the London Palladium in November 1976. No singles were released from the album, although it reached number 28 on the UK Albums Chart. On the cover of the record, Karen is wearing the same dress as in The Carpenters' Very First Television Special
The Divine Comedy are a chamber pop band from Northern Ireland formed in 1989 and fronted by Neil Hannon. Hannon has been the only constant member of the group, playing, in some instances, all of the non-orchestral instrumentation except drums. To date, eleven studio albums have been released under the Divine Comedy name. The group achieved their greatest commercial success in the years 1996–99, during which they had nine singles that made the UK Top 40, including the top ten hit "National Express".

Live shows by the Divine Comedy have a reputation for their infectious goodwill and sense of occasion. As is often the case with concert films, this doesn't entirely carry over into your living room. Performing without the aid of any multimedia enhancements, Neil Hannon and the 16-piece Millennia Ensemble are not much to look at, and the songs are performed with such fidelity to the original records that you feel like loading up the CD player and playing them instead.
