Live at the Paramount is a live album released by Canadian rock group The Guess Who in 1972. It was recorded on May 22, 1972 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. Live at the Paramount was the first Guess Who album to feature Donnie McDougall on rhythm guitar and the last to feature original bassist Jim Kale. The album reached on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States. This was the group's only live album until the reunion in 1983.
The August 2000 reissue of Live at the Paramount on the Buddha label has 13 songs, the whole 75 minutes of music from the first of two shows, and provides the best explanation of how the Guess Who endured as a major concert draw years after their biggest hits were behind them; when they were spot-on, as they were that night, they. gave an exciting show.

The Guess Who, Live at the Paramount was re-mastered and re-released by Buddha. 3 people found this helpful. This is the first "Live" album I ever bought and all other artists "Live" recordings have been disappointments with the exception of Led Zeppelins "The Song Remains The Same".

The 2000 re-release included bonus tracks from the same show which were not included on the original pressing like "These Eyes" and "No Time". The Guess Who are a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Several members of The Guess Who, notably Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman (of Bachman Turner Overdrive), have also found considerable success outside the band. The band was inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1987.
