Over the past five years, pianist Anna Vinnitskaya has made three Alpha recordings dedicated to Shostakovitch, Brahms et Rachmaninov. On her new album, Anna Vinnitskaya joins forces with her former teacher Evgeni Koroliov and his wife, Ljupka Hadzi-Georgieva. It has been a long-held aim of these three Slavonic pianists to record the Bach concertos together. They decided to invite the Kammerakademie Potsdam, a German ensemble that specializes in Bach interpretation, and to record it in Berlin’s legendary e, where some of the greatest artists have recorded.
