Dryheave are a compelling four-piece metal band that leave nothing unsaid. They truly purge the contents of their minds into your waiting skull portals. Dryheave began as a project sprung from the demise of Albany-area heroes Held Under, formed by Under-alumni Jeff Andrews (guitar, backing vocals) and Dave Matthews (guitar, vocals). Their idea was to mold the project into an anything goes band, where thorough jam sessions would be the norm, as opposed to the strict, precision-based approach of Held Under.
With Patrick Moraz filling Keith Emerson's capacious boots, they recorded an album that in many ways surpasses anything the Nice ever recorded, and one whose ambition more than matched Emerson's new outfit, ELP. It helped that along with the standard panoply of prog keyboards - organ, piano, clavinet, Mellotron, and Moog - Moraz brought with him a jazz feel that clearly energized the rhythm section.
Unholy Grave - Maniacal Discharge.

The Gelatinous Cube is a sort of rite of passage–it’s an encounter that’s inhabited low-level dungeons that signifies you’re ready for the trickier side of the game. They’re one of the first encounters where the mechanics can, if you’re not prepared give one character a bad time–if not wipe the party. But odds are good that you’ll emerge victorious over the cube, and having confronted the deadliness of it, taken your first steps into a larger world. So it has been since the days of D&D’s White Box. The Gelatinous Cube is a monster that has been cleaning up dungeons since 1974 in the White Box, and has appeared in each iteration of D&D since, making it one of the original oozes.
