If you're looking for soothing acoustic jazz guitar, this is the jackpot. Andy Summers (of The Police) and John Etheridge (who played with Soft Machine) both have virtuoso level skill on guitar and they play together fantastically. Make no mistake, this CD is almost all guitar duets. There's no drums or keyboards, and very little bass. It's very mellow stuff.

Not sure why this brilliant release is listed as blues as there is no blues on the album. What you get is a treat with two toppings and fantastic melodious guitar playing! Parts of this sounds like something that would have been comfortable in an early Windham Hill acoustic guitar sampler other compositions are more dynamic and almost as tho these two fine English 6 string maestro's are challenging Ralph Towner and John Abercrombie's aesthetics. Very good recording and a distance from Summers chorused electric strat playing.
