The 'Tuna Fish' album came out when I was in my senior year of high school and when I bought it, (on 8 track, for Pete's sake!), I thought it was a terrific album. I still do. Yeah, it has the same problems other albums do in that it can't capture the live energy, but name me a band album that does? There is nothing like live performance and, no matter how great the recording is, one just cannot beat the feeling of being there in person. It was packaged well and was in mint condition when removed from its shipping container.

Named after a classic flat bed truck, REO Speedwagon was formed in 1967 at the University of Illinois in Champaign by keyboardist Neal Doughty and drummer Alan Gratzer as a cover band playing in campus bars, fraternity parties, and university events. This album was the first to feature bassist Bruce Hall and it was co-produced by Cronin and Richrath along with Paul Grupp and John Boylan.
