Goldilocks and the Three Bears" (originally titled "The Story of the Three Bears") is a British 19th-century fairy tale of which three versions exist. The original version of the tale tells of a badly-behaved old woman who enters the forest home of three bachelor bears whilst they are away. She sits in their chairs, eats some of their porridge, and sleeps in one of their beds. When the bears return and discover her, she wakes up, jumps out of the window, and is never seen again.
The story of Goldilocks is a classic folktake that comes in a variety of versions and styles. It is also a great story to discuss the concept of sharing and privacy with your kids. Should Goldilocks have walked into the Bears’ house? How would you feel if you were the Bears’? Should she have touched the Bears’ things without permission? There are also a variety of puzzle activities that will help improve both math and literacy skills.
After she'd eaten the three bears' breakfasts she decided she was feeling a little tired. So, she walked into the living room where she saw three chairs. Goldilocks sat in the first chair to rest her feet. This chair is too big!" she exclaimed. So she sat in the second chair. This chair is too big, too!" she whined. So she tried the last and smallest chair. Ahhh, this chair is just right," she sighed. But just as she settled down into the chair to rest, it broke into pieces! Goldilocks was very tired by this time, so she went upstairs to the bedroom. Goldilocks ran down the stairs, opened the door, and ran away into the forest. And she never returned to the home of the three bears. THE END. Printable version of this story.
Then Goldilocks went upstairs into the bed chamber and first she lay down upon the bed of the great, huge bear, and then she lay down upon the bed of the middle bear and finally she lay down upon the bed of the little, small wee bear, and that was just right. So she covered herself up comfortably, and lay there until she fell fast asleep. By this time, the three bears thought their porridge would be cool enough, so they came home to breakfast. SOMEBODY HAS BEEN AT MY PORRIDGE! said the great huge bear, in his great huge voice. Somebody has been at my porridge! said the middle bear, in his. Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a great story. Goldilocks gets some good porridge, a chair to sleep in and a bed from the Three Bears. Thanks for listening Bye Bye N .
