As a young musician Till succeeded in enlightening such musicians as Michael Brecker, Dennis Chambers and David Mann for his project Midnight. The album was realized and financed by Uwe Buschkötter, a former jazz musician. The song was arranged and produced by keyboardist George Whitty. The excellent musicianship of Michael Brecker, Till Brönner and more creates the fantastic atmosphere of one of the hottest tune of that year and the spell bounding effect isn't faded away.

Brecker Brothers was the jazz duo of Michael Brecker and Randy Brecker. Michael played saxophone, flute, and EWI, and Randy played trumpet and flugelhorn. Randy, the older brother, became famous as an original member of the group Blood, Sweat & Tears. Musicians who played with the Brecker Brothers band include Airto Moreira, Barry Finnerty, Bob Mann, Chris Parker, David Sanborn, Dean Brown, Dennis Chambers, Don Alias, Don Grolnick, Doug Riley, George Duke, George Whitty, Harvey Mason, Hiram Bullock, James Genus, Lenny White, Marcus Miller, Mike Stern, Neil Jason, Ralph MacDonald, Sammy Figueroa, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan, Steve Khan, Terry Bozzio, Will Lee, and Jun.
Michael Brecker played on many albums, was very in demand in the studio's, although he never saw himself as a typical studiomusician. Along with his brother Randy they did lots of sessions. I tried to make the discography as complete as possible but it probably will never be complete. If you have additions please let me know. Bootlegs are not included. Thanks to the Japanese Michael Brecker fanclub. They did a great job in finding all titles. A discography was published in Jazz Horn which I used as a guideline.
Dean Brown (born August 19, 1955) is an American jazz fusion guitarist and session musician. Dean Brown graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1977. During that time in Boston he performed with his own groups as well as Tiger's Baku, replacing Mike Stern in that group before moving to New York around 1980 and joining Billy Cobham's band.
It seems only fitting that the initial new release on the latest revival of the Impulse label features McCoy Tyner and Michael Brecker. When Impulse started out in 1960, John Coltrane and Tyner were the first artists to be signed, and when Impulse was briefly brought back by MCA in the 1980s, two of its most important albums were recordings by Brecker. For a strong example as to why today's saxophonists have such a high opinion of Michael Brecker, his roaring statement on the extended "Impressions" will suffice.
