Girl Happy is the twenty-second album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released on RCA Victor Records in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3338, in March 1965 – the March 1 date is disputed. It is the soundtrack to the 1965 film of the same name starring Presley.

Nightclub singer Rusty Wells (Elvis) and his band have just closed their engagement at the club where they work in Chicago, and are just about ready to leave for their annual spring break trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida†that is, until the club's owner, Big Frank (Harold Stone), extends their stay at his club, foiling the band's plans for some. Elvis Presley, GIRL HAPPY, vinyl reissue. Original vinyl Lp was RCA/Victor LPM 3338/LSP 3338, dating about April, 1965. This Lp is a faithful reissue of a fun, if generally awful, Elvis exploitation album. Tracks for this turkey were recorded in early July, 1964. In the late '70s Elvis was probably the most widely collected (used record) recording artist among obsessive vinyl junkies, and for a while they went nuts. GIRL HAPPY, LSP 3338, was originally pressed on the 1965-68 "White Letters" black label; the last "RCA VICTOR" album pressed on the "silver letters" label was Elvis's previous soundtrack, ROUSTABOUT, LPM/LSP 2999, from November, 1964. RCA Victor skipped the album numbers up to LPM/LSP 3301 (LPM/LSP 3302 is LORNE GREEN, THE MAN, vinyl Lp) immediately after LPM/LSP 2999 due to RCA/Victor LPM 3000-3285 series being used on 10" albums from March, 1952-1955.
