The album was recorded in the fall of 1975 and it was the last performance of the band in front of her fans on the street near the building student Union, as well as the album includes some records from our concert at the "Lord .
Joint Effort comes out on Feb. 8, and finds the band recording in its own Clear Sounds studio between 1974 and 1975. But the album was ultimately rejected by their label at the time, A&M. The LP's title reflects the work made by Steve Marriott and bassist Greg Ridley on a project outside of the band at the time. But after a stretch where Marriott unsuccessfully lobbied to be Mick Taylor's replacement in the Rolling Stones and the group saw its . profile raised due to Eat It and Smokin', they reconvened with guitarist Dave Clempson and drummer Jerry Shirley. The CD and vinyl versions come with full liner notes and rare photos. You can see the album's track listing below.

A Joint Effort is a very rare psych folk album which was released out of Fredericton, New Brunswick. It was released on Little Records Ltd. and Red Rock Hotel Productions out of the University of New Brunswick. Side one is a more light folk rock side and relies on decent cover tunes; side 2 sounds like a few local browns and some smoke were added to the equation, a bit more rock and garage sound with some fuzz guitar. Only 200 copies were pressed. It is a very rare and sought-after album in the collector market. Interesting take on Oh! Canada. Some guy in New Jersey got a copy of Final Effort from my brother and reproduced it. We each got ten copies. 320: Uploaded Turbobit.
